Electro-Harmonix Memory Man Deluxe Delay
->
The Electro-Harmonix Memory Man is the warm analog delay pedal responsible for some of U2's most recognised songs. The Memory Man is arguably one of the most versatile delay pedals available, capable of up to 550ms of analog delay. Coupled with the delay and echo functionality, the Memory Man also comes equipped with a Chorus/Vibrato function. Fans of the Memory Man suggest that the pedals is the closest unit you'll find to the classic qualities found in the old school tape units.
Some of the newer versions of the Memory Man feature stereo outputs, but that sort of thing is not required for most guitarists. The EHX Memory Man is the perfect alternative for those who don't find the crispness of digital delay effects to their liking.
Famous artists known to have used the Memory Man Deluxe include The Edge (U2), Eric Johnson and J. Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.).
