When Fear Factory reformed in 2003, they did so without their original guitarist Dino Cazares. Stepping in to fill the void, was former bassist Christian Olde Wolbers.
Wolbers, who has an endorsement deal with Jackson guitars, naturally plays a range of Jackson 7-string guitars, including Jackson USA Custom Shop Christian Olde Wolbers 7-String models, Jackson Christian Olde Wolbers Signature 7 string Dinky Archtop's, Jackson Custom Shop 7-String's, Jackson Custom Shop King V 7-string and a Jackson Silverburst USA Custom Shop model with tremelo.

Wolbers rig was profiled in the Guitar World column Vulgar Displays of Power, as seen in the scan below, and at that stage he was using Krank Krankenstein amplifiers. In 2007 he struck an endorsement deal with Randall and now uses his signature Randall V2 Archetype heads, Randall XL Series RS412XXL 260W 4 x 12 cabinets, and a Randall XL Series RS125XL 260W 2 x 12 and 1 x 15.

Wolbers also uses a Apple Mac G4 laptop live, with Native Instruments Guitar Rig, to replicate some of his tones from albums into the live set. Guitar rig is used primarily for clean tones as well as the occasional weird sound.

Wolbers credits his guitar set up to Stephen Carpenter, who helped him get rid of the 'spider web' cabling issues, by introducing him to Bob Bradshaw, who put together his rig using CAE controllers and switchers, a CAE R5-10 Controller and CAE Custom Switcher/Interface.
